Saturday 22nd March - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny start then cloudy with light winds.

Walk 1 – Morning.

Cloudy first thing but the sun managed to show its face so I walked to the cliff top at the end of our road to take some weather pics of the daffs, which is usually a waste of time to send them in at the weekend ! I continued down onto the prom as the euthorbia is looking good and the it was lovely with the sunliht glistening off the flat sea. The park run was in full swing so I took a few pics of the runners before returning up the hill and home. Mag had spent many hours sanding our front door which has now had three coats of vanish, all we had to do was fit the new letterbox, we had to borrow some chiesels from our lovely neighbour and it felt good to do some woodwork again! The door is now finished and looks great! I then put together a new metal garden seat as the old wooden one is rotten!

Walk 2 – Afternoon.

I managed to do my exercises, I started in the garden but light rain pushed me inside, a quick snack fro lunch before we set off on our afternoon walk to the clifftop turning left along and down the pramwalk to the Spa Theatre and back along the prom, round the pier contining to The Regal turning inland to Langer Park, a quick spin round Lidl and home for a cuppa and cake before watching the Ladies Rugby as Scotland beat Wales in the heavy rain, good game too:)
